CUP Escalation Issue - SP10

Hi All,

If you are using escalation functionality of CUP then please do not upgrade to SP10. There is a bug in SP10 which does not allow the secondary/alternate approver to approve the request. We are stuck due to this issue and we had to shut-off escalation for time being. We opened a CSS message with SAP and SAP confirmed this as a bug. This bug is being fixed in SP11 which will be releasing around 26th Feb.

Thanks for sharing the bug information. I did some testing with SOD/UAR workflows and found that requests are not getting escalated if Auto-provisioning is turned on. Have you observed any similar behavior with requests(CUP, UAR, SOD,,,)?

Hi Amol,

At my current client, we are not using SoD/UAR functionality yet so I could not test it. CUP request gets escalated without any issue without any effect from auto provisioning settings but once escalated the alternate/secondary approver is not able to approve the request.
