Inspection lot

Gurus,

I have created a production order.In QA32 when i click on insp lot the q plan is assigned & the sample tab the sample field is zero,the screen is in display mode.What should be done to calculate the sample?

When i click on results recording the system is giving msg stating that no characters to be inspected.

Can you tell which inspection type you are using? are you asigned Sampling procedure? etc..

Check whether sampling scheme, did you mentioned a maximum lot size. Means if lot size mentioned in sampling scheme is less than created lot size, sample will not be assigned.

check in QA02->sample tab>Is it grey? what is sample size here.

If you have used Inspection points then you must assign sampling procedure( with inspection point) against each char.

then only sample size will be caluculated.

In the material master, in the inspection type setup, do you have "Check Chars" checked on for the inspection type? Make sure this is on and then create a new inspection lot. You'll only be able to make a UD on the exisitng inspection lots for this material.
