Activation Failed CBS Server error

Hi All,

We have problems in activating our activities to the DTR.

CheckIN is happening fine and in the activation window we get an error stating:

<i><b>Activation Failed: CBS server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server(Internal Code: COMMUNICATION_ERROR)</b></i>

All the components are struck here. There is no problem in the component.

we are using (NWDS,NWDI,WAS) - SP16.

We were able to activate it before.

I am facing the same problem. Can you please tell me how did you solve the issue. We too are totally stuck and not able to proceed further.

Hi,

usually the "other server" is DTR. Have you checked with the log viewer what the original exception was?
