JCOProxy Error: Name or Password is incorrect

Hi,

We freshly installed NW 2004s and MII 12.0.2. After that we created Communication Data user in SAP and tried to connect XMII with SAP by using SAP JCo action block in workbench. But it is showing Name or Password is incorrect. Please re-enter. Then we changed the user role to Dialog user in SAP. We tried again. But again it showed the same problem. But in SAP we are able to login by using the user.

We clear the cache as mentioned in one reply in this forum like

http://localhost/XMII/JCOProxy?Mode=Reset

But after this also, it is not working. Still it is showing the same error.

We gave all parameters correct but problem not solved.

How to solve this?

Hi Senthil,

We too faced the similar issue, what we did taht we asked the abap guy to overwrite the same credntials in in R/3 side. We also did overwrite the credentials in MII side. Surprisingly it started working.

Go through the similar thread over [Here|], but it is for MII 12.1

Firstly I would update the system to the latest v12.0 which is SP8 I believe, and then I would start troubleshooting from there.
