dynamically set the x-axis range in a gantt graphic?

Hello,

does somebody know, if there is a posibility to change the x-axis range of a gantt graphic of a web dynpro business graphics element dynamically? I can't use the the automatic setting because I would like to display a certain range and I can't use the manual setting because I don't have always the same range.

I tried to access the BusinessGraphics UI Element, and setting the customizing. I provided an XML-String with method setCutomizing but the settings are ignored.

but I would like a bigger range than the data I have, and I don't want to display phantom data.

Hi,

One possibility is to set automatic setting so that the x axis will get adjusted according to ur items minimum start time and max end time. As a work around you can have an item which will get displayed when there are no items in that range. For example: status is FREE
