Resource assignment

Hi All,

can we assign resources in previous dates to wbs.

for ex:I want to assign resources as

WBS:XXXXXXX

period:10-10-2009 to 12-12-2009

edit....wbs....project team

I have checked in system it is taking only current date :20-01-2010 to 23-01-2010(example)

or

10-10-2009 to 20-01-2010

This is standard

By default the system will propose today's date

When you make the connection you should be in the Assignments screen

In that screen click on period and change the start date to a date in the past

Save

I am able to do this in my system - obviously the personal master of the Person should be valid from the date in the past

I have replicated scenario

But it is updating in table HRP1001.

and it is not showing in cj20n.

Hi

I have checked the personalmaster data:

person:xxxxx

Start date:05.12.1962 Enddate:31.12.9999 in HR(personal master data)

But we are unable to assign these resources in the period :01-12-2009 to 23-12-2009,we are able to assign from today date.

Solution:we have taken current date as End date for resources.
