Hi,

I would like to start the EHPI tool in linux. I am aware of how to start it in Windows, by running the STARTUP command in the central instance with <sid>adm. And then open the browser to http://localhost:4239

But how do I do the same in Linux?

Thanks,

Ajay

You do it the same way.

You have to

- download the jce_policy_file

- start like

STARTUP jce_policy_zip='/full/path/to/jce_policy_file'

Then you can fire up a browser on the same - or on a different machine.

Hi Markus,

So I run the STARTUP in the linux box, and can I open a browser in my desktop machine in the same domain like this: http://<server name>:4239 ?

Will this work, is there anything else I need to keep in mind?

Thanks,

Ajay

If you have Xmachine like Exceed installed on your Front end.. Then Yes. You can export the Display to your Front end.
