Hi
Can any one let me know the exact difference between the Invisble and hidden in the script of adobe form.
Hello,
you can try by yourself.
Place a field into a subform and set the attribute "content" of the parent subform to "flowed". This way you ask the designer/ runtime viewer to arrange all the fields in this subform one after one in the selected direction (left to right = western text, top to bottom = up down).
If you now set the field presence to hidden, all the fields "after" him (using the selected direction) will take its place. If you would select only invisible, the filed would still occupy its place (there is no jump of the others to here) and is only invisible (no border, value, fill or anything si visible).
Hope this solves your problem, Otto

Clearly mentioned in Adobe Designer Help. Please search for it before posting a basic question such as this.

Hi,
Basic difference between hidden and invisible is....
If U make any of the object as invisble that object will be invisble but will occupy the area on the form whereas if you make the object as hidden it will be excluded from the form layout and hence wont occupy any space on the form i.e other objects can take its place.

Geet
