We have Multiple R/3 Systems( 5 Systems), one XI Server.

Whether it is possible for to Separate XI into 5 different areas, where we can process the messages for the 5 different R/3 Systems.

Whether it is possible?

Hi,

Whether it is possible for to Separate XI into 5 different areas, where we can process the messages for the 5 different R/3 Systems

Realtime implementations will be with one XI and multiple systems(R/3 or nonSAP systems).. So you can logically group your business process with the help of higher level SWCs and then namespace level.

So that's -XI is an centralized integration platform!!

I think, other replies will clear this post

Naveen I understand that I need to create 5 SLD entries for the 5 different R/3 Systems.

But what I am asking here is in DBMS concepts we will divide our application on Various Tablespaces, there by the related tables are placed under on Tablespace. So even if there is a problem with a particular table, only that Tablespace will be brought down, not the Whole Database.

Same way whether it is possible for us to divide XI into so many partitions and allocate one R/3 system to a partition?

Thanks.
