Hi Maria,

you can change the Funds center validity period, or even adjust your authorization checks.

The BAdI "Control Postings Using Master Data Attributes" could be helpful.

Hélène

Hi Maria,

There is no standard functionality to block fund centre.

Hélène,

Can you tell me where do I make that adjust authorization checks. I have to limit the fund center to a specific date.

What is the name of that BAdi?

Regards,

Maria

Hi Maria,

It's BAdI FMFG_FUNDMSG_DRV_DEF.

You will also find it under the following path :

Public Sector Management > Funds Management Government > Actual and Commitment Update/Integration > Integration > Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) > BAdI: Control Postings Using Master Data Attributes.

I hope this will help you.

Hélène

Hi Maria,

There are several work-arounds:

- If you work with budget structure, by deleteing the budget/posting address for relevant fund centre, you will technically block it.

- If you use AVC control and you don't budget the fund centre, there will be impossible to post on it.

- You can work with consitency checks libraries and forbid posting on fund centre

- You can make validations in FI (of course, only FI-origin postings in FM will be covered)

- You can develop Z-table (we did this in our recent project)

Regards,

Eli
