Has anyone seen client copy problems with systems based on Oracle 10G?
I have 2 systems, solution manager ora 10gr2 and ecc6 ora 10gr1.
On both systems, I was getting oracle errors when I tried to do a client copy for the first time from 000.
Then when I subsequently retried the copies, sometimes after several tries, they did not give that problem.
I reaseached the two errors and they both had to do with the client copier not being able to read a table because it thought that it was locked,
Database error 24909 at SEL access to table REPOLOAD
Thanks
Hi Jeremy Baker
First tell us did u cancelled the client copy, or its better to apply the opatch of oracle 10 2 0 2 0 because most of the bugs within oracle 10 2 has been solved in these opatches .......

HI,
These errors often occur because you are using an obsolete Oracle 9i client.
Please refer the note: 952388.

Note 952388 applies only to kernels 6.40 and below. Original poster mentioned he was seeing this problem on ECC 6.
Has anyone seen this problem on NW 7 kernels? Is there any solution? I'm seeing this on kernel patch 185, HP-UX IA64, Oracle DB 10.2.0.2.0, and our dialog instances are using the 10.2.0.2 instantclient.

Signal 11 is a "segementation fault".
I would suggest updating the database to 10.2.0.4, install all interim patches and also update the instantclient to the latest one (V2).
