Unable to connect BI Java to central SLD.

Dear basis gurus,

I am trying to connect BI system to existing central XI SLD.

I could able to connect abap using RZ70, but unable to connect BI java using VA.

It is showing the following error once i gave the centtral SLD details in the SLD data supplier

" Operation failed! Failed to connect SLD adata, Failed to send HTTP data: 401 unauthorized

Centarl SLD is fine.

Could you please guide how to trouble shoot this issue.

Further to this the SLDDSUSER needs to have the appropriate authorizations to write to the SLD

Please check below points:

1) Is JCO RFC exits between Central SLD and BI Java system ? If not, please create it.

2) which user are you using for SLD data supplier ? It should be SLDDSUSER.

3) CIM Client generation should also work. And user should be SLDDSUSER.
