QM inspection characterstics- QS21

Hi, we created list of insp characterstics for all plants. Now how to assign this characterstics to the individual products. We want to upload this thru bdc thru template. As I understand for roh materials though inspection plan we can assign. Please advise how to assign for finished materials? Whether by assigning in inspection plan, same insp charactersics will appear in routing? Please advise.

Hi Yadav,

No, for FERT, by assigning it to inspection plan it will not automatically assigned to routing.Because MICs assigned in routing will be used for inprocess inspection (insp type 03) & and those assigned to inspection plan (with usage 1 in header of inspection plan) will be used for final inspection )insp type 04).For all these uplodation you can use BDC.

Hi

That actually depends upon the type of system you have,like some companies do buy FERT material.In that case 01 inspection type task list will have MICs.

But if it is inprocess & final inspection then,

1. for 03 you have to use MIC in the Routing.(CA01)

2.for 04 you have to use MIC in the Inspection plan.(QP01) usage 1
