Java Persistence 1.0 requires Java 5.0 or newer.

Hello All,

I'm getting the below error on NWDS CE 7.1 SP09 while trying to do the [tutorial, page 35|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b030e7fb-2662-2b10-0dab-c4aa52c3550b]. I found a forum [posting|;, where the issue got resolved after restarting the laptop. I'm unable to get past this error even after bouncing the machine.

I'm using Java version: JDK1.5.0_06 and have also tried with 1.5.0_22

Java Persistence 1.0 requires Java 5.0 or newer.
Constraints for Java Persistence 1.0 have not been met.

Please help!

Can I ask you, Did you try closing and opening the NWDS again. Also try to clean and build the project again.
