Hi,
Scenario: While saving a Sales Order, the system shall trigger an mail output to the Ship-to Party with a PDF attachment (Containing Order Details). This scenario works for all the customers but one.
For the customer in question, he receives a mail from SAP. But, there is no PDF attachment. Instead, there is a long junk text with strange symbols in the body of the mail. As far as i know, the settings in the customer master are all okay.
Am i missing some settings here?
thanks & regds

There was a problem with the recipient mailbox.

Hi,
You have to maintain CONDITION RECORDS for External Send for your output type in VV12.
There are some settings in SCOT to send the PDF to the Customer, and in the customer master you have to enter the Mail ID of the Customer who has to receive the mail.

santosh

Have you tried sending the same customer PDF to yourself?
Is the recipient external to your company? If so, the firewall may be stripping the file and attempting to convert into text within his/ her email. Try sending a standard PDF to them via email and see the result.
Also check that the recipient email is set to receive attachments with PDF.
