Java stack on SRM?

Former Member

Hi there,

We are using ABAB proxy to post orders05 to SRM 4.0. We know SRM has its own local integration engine. Do we have to change a setting in the SRM server to point XI as the Integration engine? If yes, how do we that? Is there any pdf for this?

Another question, is doe we need to install Java stack on SRM to use exchange profile? If no why not, and if yes, how do we do that? Any pdf regarding this topic.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Karma

Hi all,

We do not need to install java stack on SRM server. We were able to get the exchange profile parameters from XI SLD by setting connection parmaeters in sproxyset table.

Now, we are able to get the purchase order in SRM server moni, but we are getting the following error.

Under Trace:

-

<CONTROLLER />

<FAULT_TEXT>An error occured within an XI interface: SLD system QA2_220 is not known Programm: SAPLBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1; Include: LBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1F1Y; Line: 92</FAULT_TEXT>

<FAULT_URL />

<FAULT_DETAIL />

Under Error:

-

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

- <!-- Call Inbound Proxy

-->

QA2_220 is defined in the XI SLD, and it is the sender service. I am not sure why it is saying "QA2_220 is not a known programm." Does anyone know why we are getting this error?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi there,

I did configure SRM as the Application system and pointed XI as the the integration engine. The problem we are facing right now is, SRM is unable to get the exchange profile parameters from XI when we do SLDCHECK in SRM. Are we missing something?

Thanks

Hi -

Problems with the connection to the exchange profile may mean that your SM59 destination - LCRSAPRFC - on your SRM system is not set up correctly. Double check this, making sure your test connection works.

You can refer to the <a href="http://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700001697502004E/XI30ConfigGuideSPS17.pdf">XI 3.0 Configuration Guide</a>, Section 8 - "Connecting Business Systems with an Integration Engine to the Central Integration Server" for the details of this step and all other necessary steps for setting up such a connection.

Hi,

Just for your information, my SRM server is pointing to the integration Server and it self(SRM) acting as a Application System.

This can be done in SXMB_ADM->Integration Engine Configuration-> in SRM system.

But ask for BASIS help..

You can check documentation from service market place.

Regards,

Moorthy
