Schedule lines in Sales Order

Hi Experts,

I have a basic question from my undersating on ATP in sales Order Processing.

The schedule lines with confimed qty. are created in sales orders automatically based on the avilability check for quantities.

Suppose in case where the material has sufficent stock and ATP is swicthed Off using the checking group 'KP' in material master, how exactly the schedule line is still created with confirmed Qty. in sales order?

Is ATP the only automatic functionality to create schedule lines to refer the confirmed qty. in sales order?

If we put KP (No check) in MMR and ATP is switch off , in that case system will not conside the availability check

if material is available in the plant under storage location system confirm the deliveri date and quantity with out ATP

Hi

If the availability check is not carried out, the system creates the schedule line for the Requested delivery date irrespective of the availability of stock.
