Session Timeout and Logoff in ECC

Hi Experts,

I would like to know the method to log of the user after a session is idle for a specific period of time. Also I would like to know if there is any link that explores this in more detail. I would like to know what is the benefit of this practice. Like how will it be good from security point of view or how will it help me save resources.

You can achieve that with parameter rdisp/gui_auto_logout

Theres plenty of info available about it.

Of course, it will log off the users that are idle for X amount of time, less users less resources used....
