Multi level BOM explosion : access to config for sub item

Hello all,

Is it possible to access directly a sub-item configuration within a multi-level BOM config ?

I explain : level 1 config on item 10 generates sub-items 20 and 50.

Item 20 config generates sub-sub-items 30 and 40.

If i select item 20 and want to access config, i must go to top level (item 10) config, i cannot update directly config for item 20 material & BOM.

Hi,

Go to VOV7 tcode and then select your item category and then go to its details:

Now, under the Bill of Material/Configutration section look for the Structure scope field and select the option D.

Thanks, but structure scope is already set to "D" for all concerned item types, and yet i get message V1 456 when i try to configure sub-item : i must access via top level item.
