Mismatch in Message Count between IE & AE in RWB-->Message Overview

Dear all,

A simple 1 IDOC to 1 File scenario is being tested. 50000 Idocs are pushed from R/3.

After the activity no other Idoc was sent from R/3. We checked the message count in PI --> RWB IE DB overview and AE DB overview

There was a difference in the count. But as such there was no message in error or scheduled.

Is it the counter problem in Message Overview, Did anyone face this issue before. Kindly share your inputs.

Hi,

I think your IDocs has been branched in IE before processing....thts why there is a difference in count in IE and AE...branched msgs will not be shown in AE....but it will be there in IE...you can check in SXI_MONITOR, the no of branched msgs by selecting status-> msg branched....add this no to the msg count in AE...tht will be equal to msg count in IE...

Hi,

Check in the IDX5 tcode and select the filter criteria as inbound idocs and you will get to know the count of the idocs received from the source system....
