Hallo,
Is there a way to assign the data source from a source system to another source system?
Background:
I think, with a little draft, it is easier to understand the problem:

Actual we have made an upgrade of our BW system.
In the first step we have delete our "Development BW system" and rebuild it with a system copy of the productive BW system. This works good and since yesterday we have a running upgraded BW development system. But after the upgrade we have a big problem with our system landscape.
Normally our development BW System is assigned to our Test R/3 SAP System (and our productive BW is also assigned to our productive R/3 SAP System. The logical system name of our Test R/3 and productive R/3 are different). In the system copy of our productive BW (our new dev sys) all Data Sources (with InfoPackages) are also assigned to our productive R/3 system and the SourceSystem definition of our Test R/3 System was missing. Now it was easy to define a new Source System in the development BW for the Test R/3 System, but after this I have no Data Source with an defined InfoPackage for our Test R/3 System.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Check SAP Note 184754 - Procedure after BW database copy
Thanks
Sunny
