What are the principal factors that make a shipment document relevant to shipment cost?

Hi,

You can directly configure it in t-code V_57

Select shipment type & shipment cost type >>> Click on define shipment cost relevance (at top of left side) >>> Remov tickmarks of Header, leg etc, if u don't want to cost it.

You can customize shipment cost document relevance @ what level , such as Header / Leg/ Load transfer & border crossing point etc..,.

Here you assign Shipment type to shipment cost doc type & for this combination you assign the Item categories.

if you dont want shipment cost document to be created for any shipment document, then dont assign shipment doc type to shipment cost document type.

Then system will not allow to create shipment cost document. But there is no direct assignment or activation to mark any shipment document is not relevant for shipment cost document & viceversa.
