Systemcopy SMSY in Solution Manager

Hi Forum!

I made a systemcopy of SID to a new hardware with new hostname, the SID is the same on the new server. I deleted the old technical system in SLD. The new system is shown in sld with the correct hostname.The system SID is defined in the Solution Manager. But in some fields of smsy still the old hostname appears and its hard to delete/change it, because there is a long where used list. Is there a quide that tells me how to change the systemdata? I did not find something like that.

Hi,

I doubt there exists any guide which helps you in this. In fact, u cannot change the basic settings on which the whole set up has been done. for that, u need to delete it from the location where it is being currently used and after changing , re-assign.

Now there is a second system in smsy from datasource SLD.

The old is "EPI", the new is "EPI0001"

you must delete obsolete data in some tables manually
