Licensing for Netweaver Application Server

I have a customer who is already licensed for BW and Netweaver.

Does this mean that they can then use the NW app server as a J2EE

app server for any other applications - e.g Business Objects - without

charge?

The most I've been able to find out is that there is no licensing charge for the NW J2EE AS if you use it to support Bobj.

Not sure though if the same applies for an application other than Bobj.

I suggest you ask that your sales rep what exactly your license contains.

Hi Peter,

I think you don't require specific license for the J2EE engine..If you using other business application like Business Objects then you must have license for "Business Objects"
