Adobe Reader error upon opening Interactive PDF form

Hi,

When i open an Adobe Interactive Form, i receive a popup with the message

"This document contained certain rights to enable
special features in Adobe Reader. The document has
changed since it was created and these rights are no
longer valid. Please contact the author for the original
version of this document"

Subsequently, i am not able to enter data into the form fields also.

I have configured <b>ADS version 6.0.041214.0.165275</b> on Sneak Preview Java (<b>WAS 6.4 SP 11</b>) and have applied the licence to use Interactive Forms.

<b>SAP Note 917773</b> talks of this message but it doesn't help as:

1) The users are added to the Administrator's group on
the Desktops accessing the WebDynpro application with
<b>Adobe Reader 7.0.7 and xACF</b> installed.

2) The Time/ Timezone settings are synchronised. I even
checked opening the application/form on the server itself
(to avoid synchronization issues), but it doesn't help.

For the timezone settings,i checked the System Information for properties of server(property <b>user.timezone</b> ).

Do i have to check anywhere else for Timezone and Time settings on server?

What has to be done to enable the form filling and saving?

Please guide.

Thanks,

Regards.

Siddhartha

Hi Siddhartha,

Try restarting the server after making the changes. It has worked for us.

Also check all your credentials like Reder Rights etc. for their validity.

Hope this helps.
