Hello,
We are trying to install Portuguese language in our Production system.
I started the import and the background job added the import requests in the import queue.
Bu now for the last 1 hour there is no activity in the import queue, transports are not starting.
In the SLOG also, the last entry is of an hour back.
There are no errors.
The SMLT log says:
Step INIT ...
... system date: 15.01.2010 system time: 02:50:33
... configuration "Selective Language Import"
... executed successfully
Step DISASSEMBLE ...
... system date: 15.01.2010 system time: 02:50:34
... do not overwrite data files and cofiles (settings)
... executed successfully
Step ADD TO BUFFER ...
... system date: 15.01.2010 system time: 02:51:11
... executed successfully
Step MAIN IMPORT ...
... system date: 15.01.2010 system time: 02:51:16
... number of parallel import processes: 1 (settings)
... start tp IMPORT SUBSET (TPSTAT = 20100115025116)
... waiting for entry in TPSTAT (02:51:17)
====== Control passed to tp/R3trans (see long text) ======
It is stuck there since last hour.
I checked for RDDIMPDP job and it is Released status.
We had performed the language import few months back on Development system and it went fine.
The only difference is that, on Production the trans directory is shared of Development system.
But all normal transports prioir to this have run successfully.
Why should Langugae transports require different settings?
Kindly suggest.
Helo Gautam,
Could you please let me know how you did Import New language in Production and Quality system. I have imported New Language in DEV using SMLT .Is the same way we need to do it all the systems
Or Do we need to Create Tranport Request in DEV to tranport till PRD

thanks in advance...
