Asynchronous Communication to PI 7.11

Hi All,

We need to host a WebService in PI 7.11 System and a third party is going to invoke the service asynchronously.

I have gone throught the differences between WS and SOAP adapter still not sure of using the correct adapter.

So for this scenario which is the best option taking into account

1) The Webservice consumer is a third party say based out of J2EE or JEE platform.

2) Communication is Asynchronous.

you will be using the SOAP adapter and not the WS adapter.

it would be very similar to /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2007/11/07/walkthrough--soap-xi-rfcbapi apart from minor changes as per 7.1 release
