Easy Bill-correction Framework

Dear experts,

We are preparing a migration from ISU to ISU system.

I've read sth about Easy Bill-correction Framework or EBF.

Do you have any documentation on this, and do you know if it's possible to

make any corrections via manual billling for BILLDOCEBF document without

taking all the rate structure from the legacy system?

Many thanks in advance!

Nathalie

Nathalie,

In a nutshell: the EBF framework supports the creation of manuall billing documents (that will be further invoiced) based on the information of the migrated EBF billing documents. No historical tarif information is taken from the installation. All the required information comes from the EBF blling document.

Please see further explanations in the .

Kind regards,

Fritz

Friedrich,

When we use BILLDOCEBF and easy-bill framework, do we need that contracts, rate category, rate type and schema from the previous system exists also in the new(target) system to be able to correct bill, create the invoice and the FICA document in this new system based on BILLDOCEBF?

Thanks in advance,

Nathalie

Hi Nathalie,

I am now implementing EBF solution for my customer. The EBF framework is only tool for correction (manuall billing document) billing documents created in the legacy system. For the correction you need to create ERCH header billing document data, where you need also contract, BP, CA. In addition you need also migrate the billing document lines into EBF data pool (customer specific table). The EBF is using the information from EBF data pool as the document template for creating the correction. There si also possible to recalculate some lines in the framework, this is realized in the correction methods which you can adjust according to the your requirements.

For the creation of the EBF document you don`t need to create legacy master data, but you have to have in the installation time slice dummy time slice for the corrected period.

Best Regards

Vlado
