Creating a new Application server for PI

Were looking at the install documentation for netweaver and don't see

anything specific for a PI application server. Our CI is hitting a 100%,

for hours at a time we want to install an application server.

Do we need both the ABAP+JAVA application server?

Is there any special setup needed?

Can somebody point me to the documentation for it?

Hi David,

Yes..You need to install ABAP+JAVA application server.

There is no special setup required. Only thing is you need to have a load balancer i.e. either a weeb dispatcher or a hardware load balancer whichever suits your requirements.

Hi David,

you have to install both java and ABAP app servers.
