Product Interchangeability Master Data - Supersession

HI,

I am trying to create Master Data for Product Interchangeability - supersession, can we create the interchangeability data in ECC and CIF it to APO.

Can anyone please update if in the new support pack for ECC is their any functionality provided to CIF Product Interchangeability Master Data to APO.

Hi Sanjog,

There is no functionality to CIF product interchangeability from ECC 6 to SCM.

You need to maintain supersession chain in APO

Hi Sanjog,

Although product interchangeability is a SAP APO function it is closely

integrated with master data maintenance in SAP R/3.

In SAP R/3 there are also similar functions that you can find in the material

master. However for complete integration of the interchangeability functions

you should not use these functions.

Hence maintain the data for product interchangeability in SAP APO only.
