Hi all,
we are using Internet Explorer 6.0.29 and have recently updated our SAP system from release 7.00/17 to 7.01/05.
Under 7.01 we are now getting the following error message while trying to upload a file using the "FileUpload"-functionality:
"Error when uploading; the file name is invalid, or the file is too big".
The error cannot be debugged.
What is the reason for this error and is there a way to fix this without upgrading to IE7/8?
Thanks in advance,
Martin
we are also facing same problem , have you got any solution?
please suggest .

Regardless of the sentiment expressed by the other poster that IE6 should die, it is in fact still supported by SAP for Web Dynpro. I searched CSN and didn't find a note that sounded good for this error. My suggestion would be to go ahead and enter a support ticket with SAP.
