Hey Experts,

is there a way in Easy DMS to search for createdate or last editdate of documents?

hi,

generally there is not possibility to search for creation date or something like that. This is because EasyDMS is like a light version of DMS and therefore not the same search fields are available as in the backend where you can search for status and status dates.

Regarding your description I think the best way would be to create an object characteristic for the creation date which is stored in table DRAW in field ADATUM I think. Such an objec characteristic will be filled with the same value as displayed in the database. When this characteristic is assigned to the used class for you documents then you should be able to search in EasyDMS by using the classification tab in the search mask.

This feature might be avaialbe in upcoming versions of EasyDMS!
