Activate Adapter

Hi

After configuring the adapter it won't be active immediately. How do we activate it ?

when you activate the created CC in ID, it should automatically get activated.

If not then it means there is a cache issue. You can manually refresh the CPA cache or run a complete cache refresh from SXI_CACHE.

Thanks everyone

I thought you need to send a test message to activate the sender adapter but didn't know how to activate a receiver adapter. But looks like it can be made active by just cache refresh.

Activate your change list and also check in Administration of ID if your adapter object locked.

Hi Midhun,

some channels have tab like "advanced" where you can set the adapter "inactive". For example, if you test a file adapter but you dont want to poll for whole test period.

And of course you can activate your changelist, without the changes will not appear at runtime.
