Hello,

I would like to activate the change log for Sales Order so that change documents gets saved in table CDHDR and CDPOS whenever the Sales Order gets modified. Can anyone please provide the necessary steps in Configuration to achieve this, any reference materials would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

No need for this....any changes in master data or transaction data are captured in these tables..

Is there any specific issue..in your case?

Thanks for the quick reply,

I just found the Transaction Code SCDO and the change document object VERKBELEG. If I want to add some customize fields for logging, do I just specify add it to the list of tables? Because currently we have some append structure for the table VBAK (for the screen exit in "Additional Data Tab B", will a change document be generated whenever the user changes these Z fields too?

Thanks again.

If you are appending the sturcture of VBAK and updation is done through standard transaction changes will be captured.
