Entire unit of measure

Dear Gurus,

It is possible to set a unit measure as entire unit?. So when generates a sales order always have to enter entire units in place of partial units.

Hi,

Do you mean that there should be no decimals?

If so then go to t.code CUNI and in the dimensions, select the UOM. In the decimals field make it as 0.

But before doing that make sure this UOM is NOT used by any other funcitons like Materials management, quality or production etc.

Thanks for the answer but im affraid that when i add zero value In the decimals field and save, the system delete the value from field.

Hi,

Did you check the field Rounding profile in material master Sales org1 view?

Other alternative I could think of is, providing error message to the user when the users try to enter the decimals in the sales order using user exit. I assume this is simple approach.

Hi Juan!

as Shiva Ram says you need to use the rounding profile (Sales Org. 1), but to make it works, you need to set a new sales unit for this materials, so with this and the UoM you could build the rounding profile.
