Is there a predifined field in sales order header to note the legacy order

Hi Members / experts

Our company is rolling out sap for one of the aquired plants and the requirement is to know if there is predefined field in sap sales order header to fill the legacy system sales order.

I want to know if there is a field already defined by SAP or should we add a Z field in additional data A or B tabs

Appreciate help in this regard!

There is no field as this but the your reference field (VBKD-IHREZ) on the header order data Tab canbe used

I am also looking at field VBAK-XBLNR in Sales header > accounting ( REFERENCE) ..if it is not already used for our org anywhere.

Keep in mind that VBAK-XBLNR is usually transferred to Accounting (FI). You will see it in the accounting documents created from the billing documents.
