Hi Siva,

During Ciffing, if you are coming across some error records,

then there are two ways of taking action on those error records.

One is taking online action and clearing all the queues so as to

process the business data. The later is Post processing which

you can store those records and taking action later on so that

the business can continue their activities and those post processed

records will be considered as either least important or important

one but the action to clear will take longer lead time during such

time business cannot wait.

Hope it is clear now.

Please confirm still if you have any clarifications.

Hi Siva

Adding to Senthil's point Post processing is a CIF feature which has to be activated seperately.

The feature is normally used where the flow of data is very high or the number of errors are high.

With this feature APO keeps aside those LUW (logical unit of work ) which take time to process or

are faulty. These records can be accessed in cpp and cleared later. Thi feature basically helps in faster

flow of data and avoids any cloging of data beacuse of some faulty que as all the data flow

is sequential (ques are lined up one after another).
