Item category of BOM in return order

Dear Gurus,

I have maintained a BOM with Itm Category grp LUMF, it means pricing at component level and the higher level item with itm categ TAP. If I make the sale of this BOM delivery and billing is done smoothly.

But if the return for the same BOM comes in the return order the item category for the higher level bom is not getting determined.

so Please suggest me which item category i should determine for the higher level item ? I know that for the components REN item catg to be determined. Please consider both the scenarios where the return is for whole BOM and return for some of the BOM components.

Suggest me the item category available in standard for the return of higher level item of BOM with LUMF itm catg grp.
