ERROR WHILE USING TRAVEL MANAGER (TRIP)

Hi One and all,

Hope all of you doing well,

I have maintained 0017 infotype for a person, I tried to book a trip for employee in TRIP tcode. I entered all the values, and tried to save that. But the error message is ***Error while writing to the database (PTRV_HEAD/PTRV_PERIO/Cluster TE)**

How can I solve this?

Depending on your release, note 1545686 resolves this if the error is invalid

But it can also happen if there is an invalid trip number range and if the employee is assigned to a personnel area where there is no trip number range or invalid one (eg if number range is defined as 1 rather than 01!)

You should customize it via SPRO or transaction code PR10.
