smartform:how to get the count of all table lines can be shown in one page

Hi Experts,

we developed a form using smartform,it can print head data and item data like PO head and PO item,but for each item data,we must print it in one page and the other space in the page must be printed the same line format with empty contents,that means each item in each page,now we can do it by filling the item internal table with fixed count lines which content is empty. but you know sometime the line count can be changed.then the form view will be wrong.

the question is 1.how to get the exact count of lines can be shown in one page?

2.have any other better way to solve this issue?

1. You can't

2. Use "Protection" field (in your case, use the one at TABLE nodes, go to Table tab, click Details button, you have the possibility to activate Protection field for each line type.

I thought another way can solve this problem

first we made a little change to the form let it can return a value to record the count about the lines can be shown in one page,then in the printing grogram,we call the printing function twice,the first to get the count but do not to print and the next time to let the count as a parameter to the printing function to do the real printing.
