Mail configuration for newly created message in Solman

Hi,

We have implemented sap note 865619 for notification mail configuration for the newly created message. The message is getting created in Solman, But the simultaneous step of mail triggering is not happening. We have created new Z Action profile for the same and implemented condition as per the above sap note. But that action profile is not triggering while creating new message in Solution Manager.

Can anyone help me to achive this...

Hi

To configure Mail sending you need to define actions as in above mentioned weblog on Sending email from support message. Also yu can use BADI implementation as in note 1275036 - it works perfectly.

If you configured this and the configures action isn't triggered in message log (you ca check this in CRM_DNO_MONITOR on Transaction Data/Actions tab), then check the assigned business partners. Every business partner should be assigned only once - for example if you have assigned the same business partner as reporter and as message processor, action triggering might not work.

Hello Prudhvi,

I checked that note but could not find any info that relates to mail notification...

For the message to be send, you have to configure SAPconnect. Did you check transaction SCOT? If not, then you should configure the SMTP node for INT and plan a send job with a certain time period.
