Hi Gurus,

I am creatig Quantity contract with 10 materials, If I create release order and put 11 quantity instead of 10. So it is giving warning message. At what level do we maintain warning message or error message. I try to search at sales doc type and item catg but I cudnt find.

Order type for Qty Contract NMS

Item catg KMN

Pls help me regarding this.

Please check in the item category, there you can check the quantity it I suppose.

Please check it and confirm.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your inputs

I can control at KMN Item catg but contract rel control field is blank (means no response if target value is exceeded).

Still when I am creating release contract it is giving warning message.

I wanted to know where do I control as suggested above OMCQ T code where appl area V1 is not there.

Please let me know.

I would suggest to change the category from W to E for the relevant message, using Tcode OMCQ.

But his Application area is V1 & massage number is 503,

carry settings for above application & msg number
