currency exchange rates from different backends?

Hello all,

my customer needs to replicate the currencies and exchange rates from several different R/3 backend systems. Is that possible, and how?

He has EBP 4.0 (SRM 3.0) with six backends, five of them in Germany, one in the U.S. The exchange rates for Northamerica are maintained in the U.S. backend, the European in one of the German backend systems.

Do we have to modify report BBP_GET_EXRATE in such a way that it checks the currency combinations in table TCURR (fields FCURR, TCURR) and inserts the exchange rates only if a combination does not exists in TCURR? Then we can start the BBP_GET_EXRATE-job with one variant for each backend system.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Were you able to resolve of replication of currencies and exchange rates from multiple backends? We are also running into similar situation. Any pointers will be a help.
