Dear Friends,
I need one suggestion for following scenario:
SRM -
> SUS ( Supplier Self Service ).
Purchase order is created in SRM system . This PO should reach SUS system.
IDOC won't be supported in SRM. Kindly guide me which is best soluiton to send the PO to SUS system.
If Idoc is not there how to Use PI for this scenario.
Kindly suggest me the best solution.
Renu
Hi Renu,
Do you mean Purchase Order will be created in Backend SAP ECC system and you need to send it to SRM system? (SUS Scenario)
In that case, you need to use SAP PI.
For SAP ECC to SAP PI you can use orders IDOC. in SAP PI you can import SRM SWC content from service market place where you will get ready mapping.
Send this orders XML to SRM system using XI adapter as it understands XML language.
Let me know if you have any issue.

There exists a standrd SAP business content for EBP- SUS...have you considered using it in your sceanario.
Please check the Business Scenario Configuration Guide for Service Procurement.

You can opt for a PROXY (SRM) --> XI/ PI --> PROXY (SUS) scenario.
If you search with terms SRM to XI or XI to SUS you will get more information on the above topic.

Abhishek.

SRM -->PI --> SUS
SRM
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erpsrm2004/helpdata/en/ssp_soc.htm
see last line. If SRM system can place a CSV file (PO), then PI can pick it up.
PI
PI should convert the file sent by SRM to XML required by SUS
SUS
See second diagram

SUS will communicate with other systems using http protocol, there must be a web service on SUS for PO. XML message can be posted to that web service.

Another option is to use a proxy to send the order data from your SRM system via PI to your SUS system.
