"no local div found for customer XXXXXXXX"error whn billing released to a/c

Dear Friends,

As mentioned above on subject ....my user is getting an error on billing doc while trying to release it to accounting. Initially user had a problem to see any LOG notes as system was not generating any log error.

Now user is getting an error, as follows;

" no local division found for customer XXXXXXXX"

Let me know if u any body is familiar with error.

Yes as I presumed, some billing user exit is applied. Retry in debug mode, take the help of ABAPer and read the logic written in that exit.

I have just resolved that error through t- code KEDE , by selecting local division of customer and changing "valid from" date.
