IDoc Order Confirmation

Hi All,

We have three SAP Systems A, B, C. There is intercompany process between A,B and C.

A raises PO to B.

B Creates SO and raises PO to C.

C Creates SO and sends order confirmation back to B.

B is supposed to send order conrimation back to A when it reaches order conf from C.

In step 3 after SO is created in C and sends order conf back to B, Will order confirm update B's PO or Sales order?

It's a very generic question, so a generic answer - it depends what is in the order confirmation and how you have configured SO/PO link. If order confirmation brings any new data then, naturally, the corresponding sales order will be updated. Whether the PO will be updated - you can check in VA02 transaction. Does a sales order update also update the PO? Then yes. Otherwise - no. IDocs do not create any new functionality, they just transfer information.
