Unable to import SCA files in SLD

Former Member

Hi,

We are unable to import EP_BUILDT.sca into the SLD through Administrator or NWDI_CMSADM roles.

For Administrator user we are getting error that - Unknown error. While checking in logs we found there are some authorizations required. So please let me known which additional authorizations are required, we are using standard Admin user.

For NWDI_CMSADM - Administration link itself is disabled in SLD app.

Please advise.

Regards,

Ritesh

Hi Ritesh

Have you update the CMS inbox directory with SCA file which you try to import in the CMS.

Please check it and try to import again. Also check the server memory/free space in server lcoation.

Hi,

I think Ritesh's problem is rather that the SCA is either not available in SLD or the customer has not the necessary rights (however for SC creation no Admin rights is necessary...), see my previous response. Still reflecting to your entry the note can be useful in case the SCs are not showing up on the check in tab:

#1259604 u2013 CMS check-in tab: Not all files from inbox are displayed

for future search:

if the Administrator link is disabled in SLD for the NWDI admin, then then note must be considered:

#840523 - NWDI server configuration: user, group and security role

If it is about a missing SC in SLD content, then the note is relevant:

Hi,

Can you provide us with some more details of what action you are performing?

What you mean by import of sca in SLD? I really dont understand importing of sca in SLD.

To update sld you need to update it with sim content.

Regards,

Vamshi.

Hi Ritesh,

You user id should have specific roles to be able to access administration link in SLD.

Below are some of the roles your id should have :-

LcrClassWriterAll

LcRClassWriterNR

refer the link for details of other roles.
