Product version for BI content 703

Hi,

Our SMSY display is showing the "newer version exists" yellow warning for our BI systems. The currently defined product version is SAP BI 3.1 Content. SLD shows BI Content 703. I have gone through the list repeatedly of available installed product versions, but cannot find an entry for BI Content 703 under SAP BW or Netweaver.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Yes, the yellow symbol for newer versions exists appears directly in SMSY under landscape components -> systems.

try this:

goto SMSY / Edit / Installed Production Version / Cleanup inconstiencies

if this does not help you can delete the system via SMSY and run the landscape fetch report so SMSY gets fresh accurate data from SLD

You do see a yellow triangle "newer version exists" direclty in SMSY? Or are you referring to the EWA report in which the BI Content version appears to be outdated?
