DP81 usage

Hi Friends,

What is the use If we create quotation through DP81 instead of VA21? I heard that the planned cost will be coming to quotation (EK01 or EK02) so that we can bid effectively. Is this right? Then if we go to VA22 there will be no net amount as this cost is statistical? Then we have to give PR00 manually by seeing the cost? After saving the quotation, the total net amount (PR00 & other conditions if any) will be going to projects as revenue?

Kindly explain me in detail please.

Hi,

Hi DP81 is for create quotation in Project system module.

If your project or work bench structure having planned costs in maintenance or in service order,then it will create quotation.

Even you can able to create quotation for sales document,

As this create quotations form DP81 and VA41 are totally diffrent.

Kindly explain in the end user perspective for the difference between creating quotation through DP81 and hrough normal VA21. I mean how will be the end user knowing the difference between the two.
