I tried with different password. IT says invalid credentials.

So the password which i am entering is also the right one.

if i enter wrong password it says invalid credentials.

if i enter right password it says start failed : 2 Permission denied error.

Hi,

Add SIDADM, SAPServiceSID, ORASID users to Administrators group.

Then try...

Found Solution for the problem.

As some users said it is a usergroup permissions.

It is of similar nature.

What i did to resolve this problem.

opened MMC.

under SID(DEV) you will see a subtree with hostname and hostname 0

ex DEV -> SAP -> SAP0

for SAP 0 -> right click the properties and click on start and stop permissions.

In that add administrator group and other groups's which you want to access it.

After that start from MMC and it started without any problem.

thanks for your help.

Hi

You have installed SAP with a SID, Use the same SIDADM user to login to winodws and start SAPMMC.
